Why are your prices inexpensive compared to others? What's the catch?

There's only two ways to legally acquire the use of a GTIN. You can rent it from GS1 nowadays or own it outright from ourselves due to the GS1/UCC class action lawsuit settlement in 2002. Our inventory of GTIN bar code numbers/prefixes originate from GS1-USA before 2002, this is how you can legally own them instead of being forced by GS1 into renting them for thousands or many thousands + annual fees.

Each UPC/EAN (GTIN) that we provide is globally unique, never used, and are only issued once.

We’re able to sell them to you in whatever denomination you need, whereas GS1 groups them in 10's, 100's, 1,000's and so on, making sure you pay ever increasing cost & annual fees when you need more codes.

Most legal, verified bar code sellers offer competitive prices however some have & continue to take advantage of newcomers to the bar code space and charge them far more than the rest of the industry, for example $75 for 1 bar code. Thankfully these few websites don't fool many customers and if they do, the second time around those customers always come to us.
