Will my bar code be unique to me?
Yes. Our bar codes originate from GS1-USA before 2002. They are guaranteed to be one of a kind. You are the only person in the world who can legally use the bar code number(s) you purchase. Pre 2002 GS1-USA bar codes are considered a unique business asset. This ownership is protected under basic ownership law and is enforceable through normal legal proceedings if necessary.
*In 2002 the UCC (now known as GS1) settled a major class action lawsuit, it is because of this that the GTIN's we provide can be legally owned without need for renewal fees and used as you desire.
